WOW!!!!

This is going to be a really long blog so bear with me.

I want to start out with yesterday as I didn't get to blog. The highlights, I finished production on our Epic field piece, and I went to one of the best basketball games I have ever seen. The basketball game was fun, a back and forth struggle the entire ball game, which came down to the very last shot for the win. The fieldhouse just went crazy!!!! It was so much fun. Our Epic field piece is action adventure movie about a superhero named wonderboy. (More coming soon)

Today was totally packed. I woke up at 5:50 AM then went to work at 6. I worked till 7:45 then had breakfast and went to speech class at 8:10 for an hour followed by a 9:20 writing class. I got out of class at 10:20 then went to my room for a few minutes then went to World Literature at 10:55 till 12:20 (really boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Then I had lunch for 25 minutes, Then I had my Introduction to Leadership at 12:45 to 1:40 today. It was a good class Ron K. talked about the DISC model of your personality. Following this I was back to my dorm room till 2:10 when I got to experience a stage combat workshop for three hours!!!! It was tons of fun. (scroll down for I will talk about it later) We return to school at about 5:45 then I had Epic from 6ish to 10 because it was a shooting night. whew... I'm tired even think about my day, well tomorrow I can sleep.

STAGE COMBAT Workshop- This was one of the coolest things I got to experience. There were 20 drama and video students who were a part of the workshop. It was taught by a guy by the name of Tony Wolf who is the president of the Society of Stage Combat in New Zealand and he did pre-production combat work for Lord of the Rings. During the workshop we learned exercises to get your body ready for safe fighting. It was a wonderful experience from not being able to make a scene look good, but be able to learn principles when needing to do a fight scene. (more coming in the near future, maybe?)

Have a wonderful day, and an awesome night!
